Caelus Cafe Bistro

Came here because it close to where I was staying. It's next to a university and I think it's the only bar around there. I really enjoyed the atmosphere there. It's a good place to chill and eat. The first night I went there we had appetizers. We got fish sticks and some pork dish. They were all good. They had a pretty good beer on tap. I had that and some Guiness. I also had their specialty drink called The Champion. I think it was made with 7 different alcohols and it was pretty tasty. After that I was feeling pretty good. We met Seven, one of the owners. He is a very nice guy who sat and talked with us and made our stay very pleasant. The next day I traveled to Japan for 5 days and upon returning to Taiwan before leaving back to the US we wanted to go back here because we had such a great time the time before. This time I brought my kids and they were dying for American food so they got the hamburger and fries. My kids devoured the whole thing. They said it was just as good as a burger in the States. I was pretty impressed as well. The burgers here were pretty tasty. It was probably the best burger I have had in Taiwan. Seven remembered us and sat with us and chatted. I also had more beers but I also wanted to try their Terminator which is a drink I believe had 13 different alcohols in it. I gotta say that you could barely taste the alcohol and it was very good. The bartender Kai makes very good drinks. When I return to Taiwan I will be definitely go back to Caelus!!!
