Bidra med feedbackWe have eaten at The Pelican club many times over the years and have never had anything but good food and great service. Tonight was no exception. The dining rooms are very nice but we prefer eating in the bar area. This is a restaurant that I have never seen disappoint. Very much worth a try.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian and some vegan dishesKid-friendliness: Kid friendly environmentParking: Parking available at hotel across the alley. Much better than our experience in March waiter (JT? and Jemiah sp? was appropriately attentive. Noise level was much better for enjoying a dinner. Quality of food seems to have come back from the slump many years ago.
Crispy fish is awesome. Start w/ the bisque. Had a great time.
Enjoyed everything about our meal! The food (salad, oysters, grilled fish, lobster and shrimp, creme brulee and bread pudding) was all so good. The restaurant was nice but laid back and reasonably casual and on a beautiful little pedestrian alley a bit away from the raucousness of Bourbon and other streets! JT was an entertaining server, and the prefix menu was a really good value! Definitely recommended and will go back again!
Outstanding service, delicious food, great atmosphere, reasonably priced for a high end restaurant. Gumbo is the best I've had in New Orleans. Fried whole fish was perfectly cooked and moist and tastes incredible. I prefer salt and lemon to the sauce that comes with it, it has a prominent curry flavor as opposed to a sweet chili sauce. The bread is $5 and worth every penny, it is delicious! Excellent drinks too.
