Public Service - New Orleans

Friendly and attentive service. The three-piece band was unexpected and made the evening even more enjoyable.

The food was delicious and prepared well. The waiter was stretched too thin, forgot our appetizer, and didn't seem to check in frequently enough.

Not sure if they were short staffed or what, but it took the only server we saw a while to even greet us. When she finally arrived there were no niceties or recommendations, not even an introduction, she asked if we knew what we wanted, and took our order. It took a while to get our bar drinks which were good, and our food came out fairly quickly. I got the grilled chicken salad. It was as advertised, and overall a good salad but nothing to write home about. I don't remember what my husband got, but he enjoyed it.

Food was ok, the place itself is very beautiful and open. Service was poor, like really poor. We didn't get drinks and the waitress didn't come to check on us once. It wasn't cheap to eat and I was disappointed to pay that price for so little attention.

Loved the jazz brunch trio band music to add to the atmosphere ?
