Bidra med feedbackWhen someone from the NYC area I was looking for a pizza in the new yorker style and was thrilled when I came to a place called new york pizza, I read the reviews and thought I gave this place a shot. I'm very confused, why people like eating here so much. I ordered a simple pizza and it had to be one of the worst pizzas I ever had. it is not even near new york pizza. there was hardly a sauce and it was excessively sweet. the cheese tasted and cheap, and the crust was terrible. I also got the cheeky garlic bread and that was a soggy mess when I came home. there was a huge lump cheese over the brot and my little brother would have made it in the microwave. Apart from the pricey food, the prices are what really drove me nuts. I spent $33 for a sodexo quality pizza and cheese garlic broth; not to mention it was a 14 cake. if the pizza had been significantly less expensive, I would not write this review, but to calculate that for a so-called new york pizza is a mastery. if they are looking for a good pizza in the new yorker style as I was, they do not fall into this fall; the next to a good pizza in new yorker style that I found in new orleans is pizza delicious.
Says u have 2 hve the JAB. HAHAHA VERY ACCOMMODATING.
The pizza wasn´t bad; however, they take AGES to serve the food. We waited for an hour to get a regular slice with tomato, olives and onion.I definitely wouldn´t recommend it.
Review based on: Take out only x1Solid pizza overall. I am not a tomato sauce fan especially from large chains, but this place is solid. Chains are too acidic and find it to be a distraction (for me). Cheese is excellent, gooey. That's a good thing on pizza b/c it makes it stringy. I tried the pepperoni, pepperoni w/ mushroom, and skipped the pepperoni w/ jalapenos. Over ate w/ 3 slices, and by this subjective measurement, I found it very filling.Oddly, I prefer WF's pizza. I like Pizza Hut but never order it b/c its greasy, and it feels like a mistake. NYP is good and would recommend. It's been years since I had a NYC pizza from Lombardi's. 4-stars.
We ordered for pick up, which went very smoothly. Parking wasn’t an issue and timing was quick at 20-25 minutes. This was on a Thursday night. Pizza was good, I did like the ‘Snooie bread’. The vibe at the bar is a dive bar feel with high tops and low tops. There is a bar and I saw that you can get beer by the pitcher for groups.
