Lola's - New Orleans

My partner and I went to Lola’s for NYE dinner and it was lovely. We’ve been several times and we love going for intimate, low-key, delicious dinners. I was a little disappointed when we were sat outside as I get cold easily and it was very dark even with the lighting provided, but overall still a lovely dinner to close out 2022.

The food and service were outstanding! After eating, and upon receiving our bill, we were surprised to find that the gift card we received for Christmas in 2021 was no longer accepted $100 value) due to Lola’s switching point of payment providers all go through Toast now)! Our server was graciously able to comp part of the bill to account for the cards value but anyone out there with a gift card from 2021 could be out of luck!! Happy New Year!

Food was good service was great. The seafood paella used to have more fresh seafood in it. The carafe was very small too. Still a great time at Lola’s!

We were recommended to go to Lola’s by a local friend and it did not disappoint. Service was fabulous, appetisers were delicious and well spaced out in time for the piece de résistance… the seafood paella! Wow. Was one of the best we’ve had outside Spain! Highly recommend!

The food was very satisfying but there were a few mishaps: • Made reservation for standard seating but was placed outdoors; under normal circumstances I wouldn't care, but this was a chilly night even with the heat lamps and I was expecting to sit indoors I didn't bring a coat. The hostess was very dismissive about the whole thing even when I pointed out that I booked standard seating. • Our paella which is made to order and takes 30 minutes was taken to another table so we had to wait additional time to get ours ...
