Le Bayou - New Orleans

My family and I waited over an hour for a to-go order that was NOT worth what we were charged AND we found hair in one of the sandwiches! We will never go back to this place. Attached is picture of a “Caesar salad” that we paid for-terrible!

Portions were too small for the price and service was poor

Great upstairs dining area with a view of bourbon street. Food is essentially just NOLA themed bar food. Chargrilled oysters were fantastic, but don’t bother with the fried alligator or po’ boy. Cheesecake was half frozen. Swamptini tasted like juice with a splash of vodka. This place is probably a better late night spot after drinking rather than a dinner spot.

Really great oysters! Alligator as well. Service was a little slow although they weren’t to busy. The staff helped a young lady who was drunk from Bourbon Street.

We sat on the balcony and watched the early evening commence on Bourbon Street. We all enjoyed our meal and our server was very sweet. Would return again on a visit back to the city.
