Johnny's Jamaican Grill - New Orleans

It was so good. Excellent. Nice outdoor atmosphere.. very Jamaican. The bartender wasn't all that but who cares when the food soooooo good!

Not the best but definitely edible. I purchased the curry chicken plate. The rice and peas was kinda bland and the chicken was salty. The vegetables served with their dishes is spinach (or at least for the day I ordered, it was only spinach) I?m more used to the traditional steamed cabbage.

Brown stewed chicken, fresh cooked taste with lots of flavor and a hint of spice.

Authentic Jamaican Food at its best...hands down! No other spot in the city is touching Johnny's Jamaican Grill! Great atmosphere, great staff and great music!

We really liked this spot. the food is solid jamaican flavors. decent portions and priced. it is not my best jamaican food in the USA but it's in the top 5. the bar has really yummy jamaican juices. i got a lychee paradise. we had to wait a while for food to be ready but it was lovely outside and he pulled out cornhole for us to play while we waited. the entire space is really nicely set up. hope they get more business during the warm season. fair amount of take outbusiness. collectively our group got the oxtail, curry chicken, jerk chicken, and brown stew chicken. all tasted good.
