I cook my own food...usually fish. Every now and then I will go out for steak...usually to Outback specifically for a filet mignon. The last two experiences have not been great...previously, medium well was served very well done. Last Sunday it looked, felt, and tasted tasteless like it was just thrown in a microwave! Time to break this habit.
I'm still disappointed that the Rack of Lamb is no longer available. That is a big reason I don't go there nearly as often as I used to.The service was a mixed bag. We were seated in a booth in the bar area, and throughout the time we were there, multiple employees came by asking us questions that others had already asked us. I understand they were trying to be attentive, but it was so repetitive that it became annoying.Also, when I ordered, I asked that my baked potato be on a separate plate. It did not come on a separate plate, and I had to ask for one. I also asked for two butters and two sour creams, and they only brought one of each. I know our server wrote down all of what I had asked for, but the other employees who actually brought the items didn't follow those directions. The food itself was excellent, though.
I had a great experience dining in during the dinner service. As well as my experience at the Bartop after my seating change post meal. Service was efficient, friendly, and accurate to my specific requests. Definitely will be back!
