Windmill Diner - New Milford

The autumn season makes me a Thanksgiving dinner. So the turkey dinner special was all I needed! Delicious! It's a lot of food and I couldn't finish, but I'm sure trying! My husband had the fried scallops and was also satisfied with his choice. On another note, if you like iced tea, their unsweetened is best I had from a restaurant! We are regularly for breakfast and now we will also be for dinner

I've been going to the windmill for 35 years and I have no complaints. The diner is always very clean and the food arrives quickly and is consistently good. Every time is good to go, although my going to eat is a good horned beef hash breakfast.

So many memories of eating in the windmill as a child. I love bringing my own children there now! The food is always consistent, and it is very clean. Great comfort food and fast service.

It is well worth coming the beaten path and enjoy this place! Looks recently rebuilt still keeps that scenic hometown diner feeling, and eating? If you are looking for comfort food, this is the perfect place to find it! It's too bad that we live in Florida, otherwise that would be my new local hangout.

My wife and I met with a friend at the Windmill for a nice breakfast before delving into moving furniture. It had been a while since my last visit and they did a lot of work upgrading the diner. Food and coffee were good. I wish they had tweaked their menu just a bit but that is just me.
