This place is great, by far the best pizza in the city and the whole area! The owner and the staff are always welcoming, and I never had a bad experience. Very happy to have a great deli in the area! God bless people, stop the great work!

Very pleased with this place. You might wonder why New Mil needs another deli. We already have several that are quite good. This is a whole different animal. All the baked goods are made in house and delicious. This includes the excellent blueberry lemon cake that I had this evening. There is also an Italian cheesecake, wonderful raspberry crumb cake, and many other unique choices. Also of note is the breakfast sandwiches and breakfast in general. Plates come with nicely cooked potatoes that are mixed with bacon and other flavors. The sandwiches are on a rich brioche roll, a hearty portion, great with a cup of coffee. Another unique offering is the house smoked salmon, sold by the pound or as a small plate, done three ways. Some of the best smoked salmon anywhere. There is a beet salad with candied pecans drizzled in orange oil, seared Ahi tuna salad, and many other choices. Bottom line, if you are in New Mil, come here for breakfast or lunch. Give it a try; I think you will be back.

I finally made the drive out of town to give this place a try, what a hidden treasure! The staff was very friendly and the menu is great. Everything is fresh and made in house. I will be back soon to try and BEC!!

It's safe to say that it's just the best pizza in Western CT. Frankly, in Punzen in the same weight class as a lot of the best pizza in NYC and New Haven also. Sandwiches are decent, but the pizza is ineffective. Totally hidden gem.
