Berry's Ice Cream - New London

A lot of fun at aromen, toppings and combinations for ice creations, sweet atmosphere and friendly service. my family member also appreciated the free lactaid, nice note. one of my favorite ice cream spots and a large local community supporter!

Simply amazing. We loved our ice cream. The selection was great. FRESH MADE WAGFLE CONES!!!!! The best ice cream I have had since moving out here. They have huge straws for their shakes to make them easier to drink. The lady working was super friendly and patient as our kids took their time choosing. This will be a new family ice cream joint.

Our family stopped here while attending Sailfest. We were greeted by a very friendly worker, who treated our kids like people and with respect. We all enjoyed our ice cream. Totally recommend. Also, they offer a military and first responder discount. Very impressed.

My wife and I while waiting for the train decided to try this out, as we're fanatics about ice cream. The Lady working was very health conscientious, And helpful, ordering by text made it easy. We both had an Oreo and cookie dough sundae, Excellent creamy, sweetened just right. Sitting on the deck viewing the ocean, couldn't get much better.

I have been to this ice cream shop several times of the past few years (prior to 2020) and found it to have good to very good ice cream. My criticism of the ice cream is it is sometimes icy from inadequate storage, or it is old, but I like the creative options that are available, so I didn 't mind the icy taste that much. I was in New London on Sunday and found it strange the ice cream shop was not open. When I searched online, I found a post by another person. The response by the owner is completely inappropriate, and for this reason alone, I am giving the place a rating of 1 star. I will find other places to buy ice cream where the owners are not rude and insulting to other people. I am not sure why the owner is attacking the reviewer. The ice cream shop was closed. Posts on Facebook showing the shop has been hiring since March. That 's 3 months ago! Scooping ice cream is not rocket science. It is really not that hard to do. So the review was accurrate. The only opinion in the other person 's review was about paying a fair wage. Why is that a bad thing for the owner to do? It may be the reason why it has been so difficult to hire someone.
