Captain Scott's Seafood - New Glasgow

Had the lobster roll and for the price there was hardly any filling. Also took a half hour to order and get your meal.

Lightly battered fish sandwich and homemade clam chowder soup were fresh and tasty. The fresh cut fries were perfect and plentiful. Worth a look!

Over priced, and made us both sick, the oil was nasty. Every thing was greasy and the clam strips were nasty. Coming from a fishing community, I do know what Clams and Fish and Scallops taste like and look like. The Scallops were cut in half, so they got 2 or more out of each one, and there were only 5 slices on the plate. The clam strips were so over cooked that they were to tough to eat. The fries were over cooked and soggy. For the 60 bucks we paid for the meal, it was bad. So disappointed as my Husband was so excited to eat there again. The staff was not great either, kind of dismissive of their customers, yes we were tourists, but likely the reason they were working and as busy as they were. Sorry but I felt like an unwanted family member there.

Great food with good prices for a tourist trap area! I highly recommend you try this place for lunch or dinner! It would've been a 5 star review if they didn't say no to the extra sauce I requested.

This resurant offers the best food for an below average price in the area. Amazing seafood menu. Highly recommend.
