Bidra med feedbackWorking in New Castle as a travel nurse I felt like eating sushi. Googled and found this restaurant and decided to go, sit and have some sushi after a long tiring overnight shift Friday evening. I entered the restaurant and this Asian young lady approached me with a mean look. She stood far way across the restaurant and shouted “dining or take out?” Trying to look passed her approached I set dining. She walked off and before I even got to the table she again shout, “drink.” I pretended I didn’t hear her and she again shout “drink.” At this point I turned to her and said, “can you at least allow me to sit.” She walked off and quickly came back a throw a menu on the table and said shouted again, “drink.” I turned to her and said can you please calm down, please take it down a notch there is no reason for your behavior. As I was sitting there I saw her walking pass me with a beautiful smile on her face. I turned to see what was so pleasing to her. She was greeting three Caucasian and walking them to a table. At that point I got up and told her please put a sign outside that says NO BLACKS ALLOWED and left. Racism will never end.
The food is very delicious here. Just 2 of us though and our bill was $80, for lunch. So we prob won't be coming back. ? especially when you have all you can eat sushi places for $25.
Maybe it’s just me, given the other positive reviews, but the food tasted awful. My date and I both got the Teriyaki Bento, and it was beyond gross, enough so that her meal was virtually untouched.I should have known from the salad and miso soup that we were in for a rough ride, but I didn’t want to judge early. The salad was literally drowned in a heavily mayo-y ginger dressing, and the miso tasted like a mixture of burnt beef bouillon and fish stock. For the entrees, the spring roll and gyoza were clearly just frozen and microwaved/reheated, the California roll tasted old, as if it were made a day prior or something, and the chicken was…ok-ish? The terrible taste of everything else kinda brought it down. The fried rice was fresh at least, but I can’t even say what sauce or spice was used in it, because it overpowered the rice to a pungent degree. I don’t think I’ve ever been physically unable to eat fried rice until now, haha!I talked to the manager about how things tasted off, but he would only assure me that everything was fresh, and that’s all. No offers to replace the meal, no offers to strike at least one item from the bill, he just…gave us 10% off, which isn’t enough to even cover tip. Wholly disappointing experience. Again though, maybe it somehow only tastes bad to me, as others seem to enjoy it, but I’d absolutely recommend finding a different hibachi or sushi joint.
Was hungry for Chinese but they were all closed my son mentioned eating here he loves sushi ? I hate it my 2nd time here I will never come back. 100.00 for 4 of us to eat I got chicken hibachi I wanted noodles not rice omg the noodles were so skinny and there was no taste to the nasty food at all my daughter just had a little plate of noodles nasty so did my husband my son had sushi I will never go back until they have the thick noodles like Chinese doill give this place a 1 if that ?
1st time here, wonderful experience, food served rather quickly and well done, quiet environment even with all the dining area half full. Price was good for all that we got, had appetizers, meals, desserts, and drinks for 3 for about $75 total, took a full box of left overs home. Volcano Roll was my favorite without hot sauce, Boston roll was good just not as filling. Felt like a very healthy alternative. It all tasted good, everyone loved their food, prompt service, great attentive waitress who was helpful when ordering, I noticed even the cooks were smiling and enjoying their work. Wasn’t able to lock the bathroom door, maybe that’s just me. Definitely want to come back.
