El Canelo Mexican - New Castle

I’ve enjoyed this business for years. However today was something awful. I ordered steak fajitas for takeout and left without them. The reason being is if you order from the drive through or if you “take out” they charge you a made up tax. This tax is called a “take out tax” which I’ve ordered take out from this place and many others over the years and this is the very FIRST time that I’ve heard of such a thing. I get we live in Taxsylvania but in this commonwealth there isn’t a such tax. So I questioned it and after speaking with the girl at the window a little longer. She spilled the beans on the fact the owner made this up. Which I already knew. But honesty I don’t know if I’m coming back here.

Cold food the last 2 times I've been there. Gone down hill and I wont be coming back. Disappointed...

The waiter seemed annoyed by our presence from the start. Our soup came out about 10 minutes after ordering. After that, it was about 20 minutes until our main course meals arrived. Those waits did not bother us since we knew everything would be freshly made.

Food and service were excellent! Definitely going back!
