New Canaan Chicken

The food is good, but they often get the order wrong. We just ordered 1/2 lb of chicken nuggets with cones (my favorite). They packaged chicken nuggets fries with cones. When I queried whether there was really 1/2 lb of chicken nuggets in the bag, theowner assured me there was. When I get home, there is a grand total of 3 nuggets in the bag underneath all the fries and itweighed all of 0.2 lbs. Lame. Unfortunately this happens on a regular basis so while I like the food (particularly the cones),I won't be going back.

I?m a big fan of this place although I try not to eat here that often since it isn?t the healthiest. For being fried the chicken is not greasy, the seasonings are great, and I love their cones which are fried mashed potato balls. The prices are a littlehigh and regardless of what size or combination I get I feel that I end up with the same amount of food. Always a nice treatwhen we go.

I wanted to like this place but the chicken nuggets were overcooked as if they had already been cooked and then recooked to warm them up and they provided me with one small container of ketchup that was not enough for either the fries or the chickennuggets...no barbecue sauce and no honey mustard. Chicken Joe's and Garden Catering in Greenwich, and even Red Rooster inStamford are better because the chicken nuggets are cooked right and they at least have seasoning that you can have sprinkled onto your chicken nuggets. They also ask what kind of barbecue and or honey mustard you'd like, and how many. New Canaan does notand the chicken nuggets had some hard meat in them.

This is the best restaurant in all of New Canaan. The people who work here are the absolute kindest people you?ll ever meet and the food is AMAZING! Not to mention they have the most unique and delicious seasoning on the planet. The service is quick andreliable with reasonable prices. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

New Canaan Chicken is mainly a take-out kitchen but they can seat a few people. They are conveniently located on Main Street down town. The price is reasonable and the food is tasty. It feels a little funny to eat out of to-go containers but if you arehungry, you don't really care. The place is small. I felt the staff was concerned that you got what you wanted. I have a feelingthat this is a family run place.
