Grand Pizza - New Britain

Good garlic knots and great pizza choices. A bit dark, and bar area is small but cozy non the less. Great bartenders too. Crowd that gathers here isn't the regular rowdy drunks, which makes is my new surprise find in this city a bar/restaurant where you could bring your in laws :

I can 't believe how fantastic 'Grand Pizza and Restaurant ' is! The food was great! If you know me, you know I got out to a lot of different restaurants, this place will not disappoint. The owner 'Tommy ' made sure he came to our table to welcome us and thank us for coming. Even offered us dessert for visiting his restaurant. I took my family and we all were very happy we went. When you can visit this great spot! The menu has a great selection, and I was able to feed my family of four for less than $50.00. This place makes me rethink why do I bother going to chain restaurants.

Three days ago, I found the most delicious pizza at 'Grand Pizza and Restaurant '! I am so satisfied and relieved. I moved to Connecticut 3 years ago, and “woe is me!” to not find a decent pizza in all that time! I tried repeatedly with No Luck, whatsoever. I lamented to family and friends! I am so happy now and I must share this with whoever reads this! I called Grand Pizza’s owner, ”Tommy”, and told him how grateful I am, that he has the “skills” to deliver. Sauce is perfect! Crust is perfect! Toppings are just great. The restaurant business is tough and I wanted him to know how pleased I am and to congratulate his business. People need to hear positive feedback! My parting words to him were “I’ve got your number, Buddy” and I will use it again and again. Yea!!!

The food is very good. Wait staff a bit wild but fun and nice Deserves at try. Location has a sad history of restaurants coming and going. People need to check out New Britain, a community on the silent rise! 12-21 update: yeah, they are changing ownership, again. This time, it will be under the ownership of the same guy who runs the popular Mafungo restaurant a block away. Fingers crossed.

This place has Amazing food, Great service and the bartender (Will) sure knows how to stay on top of things to make sure you get what you asked for. Highly recommend anything on the food menu and the house staff is very kind, I would recommend this place for anyone and family as well with their beautiful dining area ! D
