Cantina Del Rio - New Braunfels

Great place for margaritas! I haven’t tried the food. Very much a “cantina”, these are not fancy vibes. Come dressed casually. Amazing happy hour deals.

Great place to eat. The Chips and salsa were awesome! My wife had a burger, and loved it. I had cheese enchiladas and they were yummy. I felt like I was at a resteraunt in another country. It was so cool! Will 100% go back when I return to Gruene!

As a local, this is by far one of my favorite restaurants too frequent. Food always on point. wait staff is kind. managers treat you not like just a customer, but like family. Drinks are well made and the place is kept really clean considering how busy it gets. If you've ever driven through NB and haven't been here; your missing out!

First time here and we liked it. We didn't order an entree . We had ate at another place and decided to go get some drinks there. The drinks were ok. Not consistent on strength and flavor. My first round was amazing the second round were so strong and sweet I didn't even drink half. The chips and queso was delicious as far as I can remember. We were pretty drunk and we were having so much fun. I'll have to come back and try out the food. It looked delicious. Another great time, more jalapeno margaritas. I like coming here and catching a buzz before I go to the gristmill

The star of this review is Johnathan. He is an awesomely amazing waiter! We arrived and had to sit outside, a party of 6. We had drinks, chips, salsa queso. And we're waiting to order. After a while, Jonathan came to take our order. While taking our orders, he offered to move us inside, where it is air-conditioned. A large party had just left, and the table was available. Parking: Limited parking at the restaurant. There 8s parking across the street and further down the street. Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp into the building and to the upper patio.
