Applebee's - New Bern

7:30 Friday night dinner. It was great to be outside and we chose a good place. The food was pretty good and the place had a great atmosphere. I could say they were short staff, but they did. The staff was friendly and everyone worked hard. Even the manager helps in cleaning tables and leads food and drinks to tables. There were three of us. We had all dinners, drinks and an appetizer. We will definitely eat there again.

I ordered the Four Cheese Mac and Cheese with the chicken tenders on top. The my husband got the shrimp steak and mashed potatoes. My pasta was just cold, not even room temperature. There were 3 tiny little tenders on top barely drizzled in sauce. There was brown liquid under the pasta as well. This dish was $13! I literally could have made it way better at home. My husband only got 5 little shrimps on his steak and a little pile of mashed potatoes. We were extremely disappointed, especially because we 've been to several other Applebee 's and gotten the same exact dishes before. My toddlers got the corn dogs and mozzarella sticks, both of which could have been cheaper by the box than their entire meal and it was literally the same exact thing. The waiter only checked on us once, and it was only to ask, You good? while walking past. Also, no one was wearing masks (not even the waiters) and we were all seated literally back to back. I will definitely never be returning here.

Delicious foods and not many people. Just enjoy the relax atmosphere on Applebee's ? Transportation is quite easy and you do not have any parking problem.

If you read my reviews you know I go to Apple Bee's A LOT! Usually its delish but this time, WAS THE BEST! I usually don't put pictures but I just had to! It was so good that I started eating before I took the pictures. The food was fresh and tasty! I've been on vacation and this was gonna be my last meal before I went back to Georgia, where I live, I'm so glad that I got to spend my last day in North Carolina here, eating this delish meal! I got the 2 for $20 meal with my brother and got the ceaser salad with a 6 oz. Steak! I would recommend to anyone!! ?????

Great place,just celebrated our daughter 30th Bday and the service and food was great.
