Sugaree's Bakery - New Albany

The cooking class that they do on the last Sunday of the month is so fun!! We did the Pizza, Pasta Gnocchi class. We purchased items from the bakery afterwards. Delicious!

I took a risk ordering a red velvet cake from an online bakery. I'm glad I did. This is the BEST red velvet I've ever had. ? it arrived frozen with dry ice. We left it I'm the fridge overnight to thaw, and then on the counter to bring it to room temperature. It was delicious, moist and tastes like old fashioned red velvet cake. I would definitely buy again.

We were visiting family in Ripley but my son and I stayed in New Albany. (The house that we were supposed to stay in was messing with my asthma) we needed to find something to do before go picking up my mother in Ripley. So we went to downtown New Albany and this Bakery caught my eye. We enjoyed the customer service and suggestions that we were given. We had also talked about how eating cake Frozen was the best. I'm not sure if they heard me shriek in enjoyment whenI'd seen the cheesecake. My son and I bought a couple slices of cake, I bought an additional brownie for myself and my mom enjoyed the Tarts that I bought for her. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely visit. *update* thecakes and brownies were delicious

Sugaree's bakery is a national treasure. I pay obscene amounts of money to ship their cakes to me out of state because they are the best cakes I've ever had. Best cake flavors are strawberry, caramel, and coconut. And I don't even really like coconut cake..... At least I thought I didn't.
