I enjoy Roosters wing a lot, especially on game days or special events. I ordered for carry out and was pleasantly surprised to still have my order brought to the car. My order was hot and accurate, I only took a star off because online ordering wasn’t available which makes ordering more difficult.
Rooster wings are great, the only thing is the long waits. Even if you call ahead, you will most likely need to wait for your pick up when you get there. That being said the food is good, and there is usually a good crowd for any game or event
I'm typically a big Roosters fan. My husband and I both love the wings! I strayed from my normal order this evening and decided on the chicken wrap and fried pickles. Although the pickles were tasty, I guess I was a little surprised by the serving size. Is it normal to get 7 pickles for $5.50? It always seems like more whenever we order in the restaurant. Maybe someone can let me know if this is normal?
First time I ordered food here for carry out. My personal informations are in the Roosters system, so even I gave my phone number, and asked so we gonna get a text when is ready...answer was yes. Well, no text, and I was wondering are they killing just now the chicken or what is happening that finishing my order take more than half an hour! I went in to ask for the order, the girl gave us right away, and I was asking..did we get a text because we didn't see any and it's been almost 40mins...she was mumbling about text...NO TEXT. Asked her how long was the food sit there.. oh just 15mins ..GREAT! Oh and specifically I asked for nachos with jalapeños and cheese dip, in the end she charged double priced nachos. So I had to ask after almost 40mins waiting to get my order properly. Took them at least 20-25mins, for 3 bags of nachos?! ...and of course no refund for the extra payed (double priced wrong order) Unfortunately, the nachos we got were half and 1/3 packed in a box with hole in the bottom (this happened not a first time). Seems the restaurants (161 and New Albany) never pack a full amount of nachos or curly fries like before pandemic. So it was an unpleasant first and last experiment with them. So thankful for the extremely expensive and cold food! Oh, and advice..no matter which Roosters you plan to go for carry out, ALWAYS double check your bags!!!!! In my experience they have NEVER could pack the correct order, always something was missing from my order.
