We were very well received after a day of walking on the rennsteig. the rooms are well equipped and suitable. the breakfast has surpassed our expectations. we wish the friendly owners everything good. gez. the hikers from the Rhineland

Always happy here and always friendly. top eating, good service, even years ago was the cake etc. always alls tippi toppi.And with all the c gedönse and the difficult location for gastronome you have to bring with you as a hospitable also sometimes thoughtful and understanding and not always like an imperial demand.

Recommended. cheap price for a single room, rich breakfast and a nice guest. if there were half board, I would have eaten there.

I come around as a montage worker and land in a variety of hotels, apartments or pensions. this time I am here in the thüringer forest in the hotel restaurant oberland, landed. my first impression was, wow, where I landed here. it is a beautiful small hotel, which is furnished and guided with much love. the restaurant and the rooms are lovingly furnished, newly renovated and very cozy. the owners, family ramona and michael gogrefe, have created their little paradies here. they and the whole staff are very friendly and courteous, they give themselves much effort for their small and big guests to be there.The hotel is located on a main street, but you can enjoy its rest here, just as a moneur after many hours of work.I can recommend this hotel warmly and will be happy to come back, whether as a monitor or even private.Many thanks for everything.

Very friendly owner who has upgraded everything lovingly, cordially and with a lot of taste. eat of the finest and plentiful. was there with my wife for one night because we ran the rennsteig and can say that the breakfast was the absolute hammer. so rich and versatile, we have not eaten any breakfast at all nights.
