Authentic goan food with a warm cozy atmosphere, that serves great authentic Goan home made food. This place has a very typical Goan house vibe so the food that we expected was really delicious Goan food. The prices for everything on other hand were little high but must try place.<br/ <br/ We were 4 of us in all so we ordered quite a few dishes. We ordered Surmai Tava Fry which was outstanding. Fried prawns were bland. And a white sauce chicken dish which was little salty. But the show stopper was Tisrya Masala and Prawns Curry with Steam Rice. To end our journey we ordered Serra Durra that was the best thing i have ever had in Goa.
If you’re looking for absolutely authentic Goan cuisine, look no further than this place. Rustic quaint, run as a family owned brewery turned restaurant, it’s a lovely place to spend the evening if you’re looking to get away from the madness of noisy Goa and just indulge in good food! Must visit in North Goa.
A wide variety of authentic Goan Portuguese food is served here. The owner Patrick has mellowed quite a bit, since our last visit 2 years ago. Still a little eccentric and direct with customers, but that is part of this place's charm. We had the recommended White Bait fry which goes well with beer, fish roe rava fry big portion, but pretty standard preparation, a dry pork dish more fat than I like, but I know pork fat rules!, followed by sannas (which were a little dry)and some Red Snapper prepared in some Portuguese fashion that Patrick swears you cannot get anywhere else in Goa. The highlights were the deserts of Caramel custard and Seradura both made in house and perfect in every way. Place is busy, and a little crowded and cluttered with unnecessary knick knacks but interesting nonetheless. So if you are in the mood for a quirky dining experience look no further.
Bhatti Village<br/ Candolim, Goa.<br/ <br/ Located in a godforsaken by lane of Nerul Village – about a 20 mins drive from Candolim, the husband wife duo cook and serve you amazing Goan food, Bhatti Village is any seafood lover’s dream come true. <br/ <br/ The star of the show is of course, the food here and the showstopper will be White Bait Fry. They have a wide variety of fish available to choose from, so go ahead take your pick, but make sure your table has at least one order of White Bait Fry, Binda Sol/Amsol! Some of their other dishes to die for would be the Prawn Curry with Plain Rice, Tisryo Masala, King Fish Pan Fry and Fish Fingers!
