Dows Lake Pavilion - Nepean

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! I was able to get a discount using a Groupon, which made it much cheaper. The only downside was the extremely rude man working there, which is why I am deducting one star from my review.

I adore this park because you can peacefully canoe on the water in the summer and skate here in the winter. Additionally, they hold a tulip festival during the summer.

We visited this restaurant during the Tulip Festival to see the tulips and had a great time. There were even more tulips here than at Major's Hill Park, where we had visited previously.

My wife and I had a very good meal their last night . We each had fifferent appetizers and different entrees and all were excellent. We shared dessert and it was also excellent. All items were served in a perfectly timely manner and all was very fresh, tasty and hot. We would highly recommend this restaurant which has a great view of Dows Lake and provides outside dining as well as indoors. Our only complaint was the temperature which they attempted to fix. However we would recommend taking a sweater just in case.

We rented a paddle boat one day for my moms birthday. Found parking across the street. The rental process was easy photo id +20$ deposit. Lady explained how it worked, helped us in and off we went. Spent an hour out made our way back winded. A man came out and told us they wanted us to now bring it back around tp another dock, i guess they were relocating them. We were tired but agreed. When we came around the other way no one was there to guide us. Finally one younger guy came and helped us and held it in place while we got out. Problem is they docked us on a small dock that wqs currently under construction and the workers stood there looking at us since there was no actual access back to the pavilion. We had to walk around the construction and hustle up and under a blocked off area. When i mentioned it to the girl that signed us in she said Ya, they are still building followed by well anyways and completely refused to discuss any further. That was more aggravating then the actual issue when i suggested having the boats dock at any of the other 15 docks opened. Her behavior was the last impression i got of that place...sour unfortunately, unfortunate because we had enjoyed it, but i see they just don't care about customers ..just give them their owed money and leave
