I guess this is the best fish and chip takeaway in nelson. they always have the best fish. but more important to me is that the way they make the diligent, its well dewatered and crispy. tonight we had bluff uttering, and they were big juicy and still the teig around them was crispy. very tasty.

I guess everyone's right about his mind, so I'm gonna give it to me! burger was amazing yum yum. fresh rolls, speck was cooked for perfection. fish was cooked to perfect the pineapple rings were for dying! chips 1 scoop perfect! the customer service was brilliant and the whole crew worked well! Cheerful quick service in a clean charging. nice eating, not fat. some can say the creatures are a little on the light side, but otherwise very good.

To the worst I had unfortunately. the fish and chips were not over-boiled or under-boiled and looked absolutely good, but tasted terrible. both the fish and the chips seemed to have a sweet, sugary taste?!(which is of course not the taste they want with fish and chips. it was the feeling of the left very disappointed, and overall not worth a good one. the only good thing was that their service was in order.

Seriously the worst fish and chips in my life. Everything including the chips were over cooked and my $7 piece of blue cod was just plain nasty. It was small and hard, a thin piece of rubber. You could throw it around for as long as you like and it still would remain whole. My daughters battered sausage was severely overcooked and hard. Never never again. I’d be embarrassed serving up that kind of food.
