Bidra med feedbackCame a few weeks ago to work here. was not sure what was supposed to be expected from outside, and if we were a bit small in it. but the service and eating were fantastic. I ordered a lasagne with a Vietnamese salate. both were made too home and good size shares. coffee was delicious and everything was good worth the $25 price tag. I'll be back!
A range of fresh salads and breakfasts. Cakes are expensive, for no apparent reason other than the postcode. Breakfast good. Coffee good flavour but too weak. Food is nicely presented. But... I was really annoyed to be charged extra for scrambled eggs when I ordered 'eggs your way '. And it 's not common practice to embarrass s customer who asks why you 're charging more than your displayed price.
A group of 8 of us went there for a work breakfast food wasn 't too bad. Poached eggs were overdone but other than that, it was fine. Service was pretty much non existent; one of my workmates had to go up to the counter to get the menus for all of us. What really got to me was that they overcharged us by over $50!!! There were 2 extra meals drinks 'added ' onto our docket, I got an iced coffee which was $6 but on the docket it was listed as a juice $7). We were also charged for TAP WATER... 2 bottles at $3.50 each. When we went back to clarify this, the waitstaff/owner said that he didn 't know if we had sparkling/still water so he refused to refund us for that. He eventually did refund...read more
I 've been living in the area for years, every time I drive past Feast I think must try that one day so eventually I did : If you need a label for this place it would be Suburban Cafe BUT a very good cafe it is. The decor is simple and unpretentious. It has a very utilitarian feel to it, a little cold but not uninviting. The array of honest 'home ' cooked foods is surprising and welcome. As per usual for me it was a take away coffee and pastry this time a banana muffin and flat white. The coffee was really very good, the muffin was actually perfect extremely well baked and the balance of flavours and texture were spot on. (banana muffins are not my thing but this experience has...read more
A great selection of tarts, wraps, sandwiches, salads, juices, smoothies and sweets. They have a breakfast menu till 11:45 but no actual lunch menu. The mushroom tart I ordered tasted homely and delicious. The homemade ice teas are also very refreshing. They aren't sweet either which I enjoyed. If you have a sweet tooth I would recommend the caramel and oat slice. Hearty and scrumptious. Food is great but the cafe itself is confusing. When we walked in we were not greeted or told to take a seat. It is a busy place and understaffed and you are left to browse the cabinet and order at the counter. Interior is ok but also looks a bit muddled. If only the environment reflected the...read more
