Bidra med feedbackWhen we arrived it was already dark. Everything seemed to have already gone to sleep. But because the internet showed this tavern as still open, we took a chance: I asked if the kitchen was still open. It honestly didn't look like it. But we were surprised by the German-speaking Janet, in a good mood and extremely warm. What followed was our best experience in Greece with the country and people and food and drink. I can 't say what it is in top season, but in September, during our visit it was terrible. The Tatziki salad was made of old rubber like cucumbers. All the dishes were oily and smelly, the service was clumsy and unfriendly. They didn 't offer us a menu so we had to order blindly with regard to the prices, which appeared as high as in the top tavern we visited the next day in Platamonas. If you don 't have something good to offer you should better close the place until it 's good again.
Fabulous food. My wife and I ate two crabs, an exceptionally cooked fresh fish, two beers, a glass of wine and two salads. The price is unbeatable. The wonderful people. I asked for something else besides fish. Not all family members eat fish. He answered maybe we have . They would have put anything on the table so that we wouldn 't leave, but they only had fish. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
Overall the seafood is delicious and fresh, but the service is bad, despite the people being kind, so is hygiene. I understand it is small family-run business, but only one person speaks English and there is no up to date menu. The menu is only in Greek and there is no way to know what is available, even if you use Google Translate. If the young girl isn't at work, there is no way to find out what is offered and available. Still, the best place for seafood in the area.
