Bidra med feedbackAfter reading mixed reviews about the pizza, we decided to give this restaurant a try with an open mind. We were warmly welcomed by Su, who was friendly and sociable. The outdoor seating area had a great atmosphere. The staff were all helpful and accommodating, especially when it came to vegan options. Su even suggested modifications to make non-vegan dishes vegan. My friend ordered a vegetarian pizza with vegan cheese, but Su recommended skipping the cheese for a better experience with added garlic. The pizza was large with fresh toppings, though the crust was a bit thick for our taste. I tried the vegan mushroom linguine, which was delicious without the parmesan. We enjoyed the pasta so much that we returned for a second visit. We both ordered different pasta dishes, and once again, they did not disappoint. I can't stop thinking about going back, and I would hire the cook if I could to make me pasta every day!
There are some vegan options available at this restaurant, which is unusual in Naxos where many menus feature dishes with animal products. Prices are higher due to the tourist season. They offer pizza, pasta, and fries. The staff seemed unsure about vegan options, as dairy parmesan was brought alongside a vegan pasta order. The pasta dish was enjoyable. A large pizza costs around €18, a pasta bowl is €10, and chips are €4.50.
Had good pasta, bruschetta and foccacia in prime harbour side location. Waiter insistent the vegetarian cheese for pizza was actually vegan, although also believed salmon to be vegan. Asked for no cheese on pasta and helpful waitress advised me to also take out spinach since it was cooked in cream. Best table covers in Cyclades.
Plenty of vegan choices. Vegan cheese available for pizzas and pastas. The staff is very helpful and Susanna, the owner, is very nice and friendly.
This seaside Italian restaurant is owned by Susanna, a genuine Italian woman. The food is skillfully prepared, although not particularly unique or innovative. However, the menu includes vegetarian options and many dishes can be made vegan. This attention to catering to alternative dietary preferences is commendable, especially in a country like Greece where vegan options are limited. I would have given it a rating of 3.5 if that had been an option.
