The restaurant offers delicious Odia dishes at a reasonable price. The only downside is its location in Vashi, which can be reached by local train. It is conveniently located near Vashi train station. They also have a variety of sweet dishes that diners will enjoy.

The thalis at Orissa Bhavan Canteen are very appealing. During our recent visit, we ordered a prawn thali and a fish thali. The fish thali consisted of mixed vegetable curry, spinach, sweet semolina, papad, and two large pieces of rohu fish. The prawn thali included six medium-sized prawns along with the aforementioned accompaniments. The prices were Rs 180 for the prawn thali and Rs 170 for the fish thali. The best part about the food at Orissa Bhavan Canteen is that it tastes very homely, making you feel right at home. Other dishes like mutton curry (Rs 180) and chicken curry (Rs 170) are also available on the a la carte menu. The ambiance is simple, with plastic chairs and tables, but you don't come here for the ambiance. The service is quick and attentive. We highly recommend this place.

The service at this restaurant is terrible, with only one person managing everything. Despite having a large menu, many items are not available and customers are often told that they are not in stock. This restaurant claims to offer traditional Oriya cuisine, but many popular dishes like pakhal rice, dalma, tomaten khatta, poi saag sabzi, badi saag, and sale rassagulla are not available. Despite the nice ambiance, I am disappointed with the lack of availability and poor service at this Orissa food center.
