I love this place. Best food anywhere near Wilmington and far beyond. Meatloaf sandwich is my fave.

The restaurant has closed down as a restaurant but is still open as a nonprofit soup kitchen. They have a limited menu for lunch and dinner. Donations are appreciated so that they can keep the doors open. Food is excellent. Please support these guys.

Really like this BBQ. Only have takeout. No dine-in service yet.

I ordered the bbq game hen with rice and gravy, and greens-n-things. I was very disappointed. The hen was so dry that I could not eat it and there was very little bbq sauce. It also seemed old as if it were left over from the day before. Ive bought whole, cooked chickens from the grocery store that’s been way more tender and juicy. The rice and gravy would’ve been fine had they added enough gravy to taste. It felt like I was eating plain rice. The greens were the best thing in the meal even though they tasted canned. The reviews were good so I thought I’d give it a try. Very disappointed.

Zero stars!! I went there this evening and the service was awful. The bleach blonde waitress Came to the car with an attitude. When I asked her when the food would be ready she spat on me. When I asked for manger they wouldn’t let me inside.
