Old Hickory Steakhouse

I was invited to a special group dinner, so there was no waiting for my first visit. The restaurant is beautiful. It has great charm and is all the place to enjoy the society of others. I ordered the salmon that was perfectly prepared. The aromas were popping and the squash was a star on its own. I ordered the cheesecake to dessert. Wowza. I can't talk about prices, but I say it's worth a visit.

Such a breathtaking view and beautiful traditional furnishings! The food was delicious and our waiter was attentive. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was perfect! The kitchen has somehow spoiled our main food, which delayed the arrival of our dinner. The waiter has taken full responsibility and offered a delicious dessert to decide for the extended waiting. All in all, we had a nice meal and plan to return.

We enjoyed our visit here very much! I have high standards when it comes to steak and steakhouses. After some of the reviews I felt like a lot of negativity over the prices.. but it's a steakhouse in a resort, so. We focused on quality and we were incredibly happy with what we got. Our waiter was very attentive and knowledgeable and the steaks were perfectly cooked! We have a perfect look at the Atrium and watched the Paint me a Fairytale Show when we had dinner. I am obsessed with all things princesses, so this was an additional bonus! The only Hiccup (if you can even call it that) we met that I ordered an 8oz file, but got a 6oz. I didn't really notice a difference because I was still very full at the end of the meal and I'm glad I didn't get the bigger size. I only noticed when we got the check, but in the end it was better to save the $20, as I would have been too full. We even received a small note from the Steakhouse, which will thank us for visiting our hotel room. It was a very nice touch! I would recommend a meal here to everyone, especially if you stay at the resort, for high-quality food with excellent service.

The best steak I've ever had. Once you go Waygu, it's hard to get back to regular steak. I had three steaks since I left this place, and I can't stop thinking about magic. The oysters are very good and clean tasting. I enjoyed my couple visits in this restaurant during my stay at Gaylord. The MacAllen 15 was great. I could smell it from where it was sitting on the table and it went smooth.

We ordered bbq pork belly, filet mignon w/ a side of vegetables& mashed potatoes and a bottle of wine. Everything was SO delicious! I highly recommend. The free bread and spread was really great too. Our server, Happy, was very friendly and helped us feel very welcome. I have no complaints. Will definitely be back
