Friendly staff, food is ALWAYS AWESOME!! My favorite dishes are the adobada burrito and the adobada fries. I love how they are flexible with dishes and can substitute items, perfect customers er experience as I feel like they WANT to make the customer happy. Mi Tierra is the place to go in National City. NEVER been disappointed. I always look forward to it!!
The food was good but average(sopes). Would I go back yes but will I drive out of the way no.
Always waiting, food good but sometimes it’s a miss..
First time visit. I took my older relatives that loved Mi Tierra. My first impression was that Mi Tierra was a typical hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant. Patchwork tables, chairs and booths. The interior appeared clean and maintained. My older Aunt complained about her carne asada being tough to chew and flavorless. She also didn't like the guacamole. Aunt Nadia also told me that Mi Tierra didn't use lard in the tortillas and that is why the tortillas were so thin. She lamented that the food wasn't as good as in the past. We also ordered a caldo de res and a carnitas burrito. My Uncle really enjoyed his soup and I liked the burrito. So the food can be a mixed bag.
