Delicious food, fantastic service and the view of the river was beautiful.

One of the worst meal times we've ever had. everything was destitutely overboiled, from our laughs, to the calves, to the narrow hair pasta, to the kartoffels. a waste of money.

The view is wonderful of the mississippi, but the room/hotel itself is hard lost in the 1970s and not its not retro-chic. the lighting was bright, the device. good, don't let go there. that is, the service in the bar and restaurant was very attentive. they really worked hard. eating is good. I had the duck and it was very good. the grotten. with a touch of what smoked gouda was great. the brussel sprouts needed a few more minutes in the pan. it is just the atmosphere with this great view could be fixed and drawing some more people. we would go back for the service and eat.

We made reservations online and arrived at the appointed time. A server passed by us and told us to “sit anywhere”. We found a table and our waiter arrived promptly. He was attentive and provided good service. The appetizer was very bland and the salad was, let’s just say it wasn’t up to the caliber of the appetizer. The entrees (filet and the duck) were both surprisingly well prepared and tasty. Overall, the restaurant is suppose to be casual/fine dining and it’s not even close. The service was good and the location offers a lovely view but the food isn’t worth the trip.
