Pizza Amanda Marie’s

I'm a pizza snob and these guys are legit. The extra cheesy pizza is just that. We added pepperoni on one side and Italian sausage and mushrooms on the other. Wish we lived closer but will say that we will be back.

This new spot has amazing pizza! We ordered the supreme and my mouth was watering as soon as he handed me the box. The toppings were fresh and I don't normally like pizza crust but I devoured it. The restaurant is very clean, organized and decorated well. The service was great and while the pizza was cooking he took the time to engage in conversation. Good spot!

Pizza is awesome! However never seem to be open. Order online for pickup. Get there and it is closed. Ordered twice for delivery on GrubHub and they go to pick it up and no one is there. Very disappointing.

I tried this pizza place for the first time last night since moving to a nearby apartment. I expected the normal mom-n-pop take out pizza you find around Nashville (Roma's, Sam's, i.e). I ordered take out and showed up 20 min later to pick it up. It's located right between and liquor store and beer and tobacco store, but not in a sketchy way. It's a cozy little place, with the generic Italian pizzeria styled decor all around. Nothing significant like I want to take a book there and eat. But the pizza. I got a pepperoni and mushroom pizza, and I wish I had taken a picture to post here. Here's why I am writing this review. The pizza reminded me exactly of a NY-style shop that used to be walking distance of my apartment in Chicago. Having come to Nashville two years ago, the pizza from Amanda Marie's brought up all of the fondest memories I had forgotten. Now Amanda's has done for me what that little shop in Chicago did, gave me a direct memory of Nashville (Antioch). Honestly can't wait to have my sister try it. It's simply great quality pizza close to home. PS, don't get the salad- just make it at home. It's iceberg, tomatoes and croutons.
