Fast service, server was friendly but didn't speak English, didn't matter because the food was right what we ordered and the sushi was

I was excited to try Ichiban since I always passed by this restaurant on Charlotte Pike, so I decided to get take out. I got the beef teriyaki dinner bento box, which included a lot of food because it had beef, rice, a roll of California roll, soup, salad, and 2 veggie spring rolls. The food looked great, but the taste was okay. Portion for the price was meh. The beef was kinda overcooked, the sauce was your typical teriyaki sauce so that was decent. The California roll did not taste the most fresh, it was something about it that was not a good sushi roll. Salad was like chunks of lettuce and the salad dressing was ok. The ginger and wasabi was dry as well. Spring rolls were decent. I was disappointed at the food.

I love this place the yum yum sauce is amazing and the steak is really good as well I would recommend the unagi sushi and the hibachi steak and

Don't judge this book by its cover. The food is delicious and the servers are very personable. Give it a chance.

I can't speak about what the food tastes like since I don't have it. The lady that called to confirm my order was rude as heck. She stated they couldn't do eggs only the chicken and rice ok I asked if she could cancel it due to me not being able to. This heifer hung up the phone on me. Please get this lady a business etiquette class and some customer service because her tone and the way she spoke was rude!
