Bidra med feedbackAmong 10+ coffee shops i’ve been for the past month, Slow Hand coffee had the best pastries. This was the best banana muffin i had and the baker/barista was really kind and patient. I came close to the closing time so more that half of the pastries were already gone but apparently their biscuits sell out first.Food: 5/5
Cookies are unique and delicious. The ginger molasses cookie is great, as are the fudge pecan and the red velvet cookies! Chocolate chip cookie is nothing to write home about.Food: 5/5
Was going to visit here on a Sunday afternoon in the middle of Open hours posted both on the door and online— except no one was there, door locked and light were off. Both I and the patron who pulled into the parking lot and arrived at the same time as me thought it was strange, turned around and took our business else where.Might try to visit again another time but this has definitely left a poor taste in my mouth.
Only coffee house I've been that didn't have wifi, technically they did but the worker indicated that it was of no use because it really was non-functional....coffee was OK, not really hot as is typical of coffe houses like Ugly Mug....Food: 3/5
My husband and I were staying in an airBnB within walking distance of this coffee shop, so we decided to give it a try because it was recommended by the host. We glanced over the menu and thought it looked like a good little coffee and brunch spot. We went at 10:30am on a Sunday.Unfortunately, there were no brunch items at all (like the biscuits on the menu or pictured in the reviews and on social media). They were only serving pastries which were nearly gone by the time we arrived. We actually thought we may have gone to the wrong place. We ordered a quiche and cheese danish and two lattes which were all pretty good, but customer service was a bit slow and honestly unfriendly to say the least. I asked for a napkin which are kept behind the counter and was given a look of pure annoyance. There were only two employees working, so I am sure they felt stressed given the number of people in line, but that’s no reason to act this way toward customers. I am not one to take the time to leave a negative review but we were so stunned by this experience, I feel I must. I am unsure how this place has this high of a rating if this is how daily operations are run. I am giving 2 stars instead of one because as mentioned, the coffee and pastries were good.
