Republic - Nashville

The restaurant was closed. I understand that a tragedy caused this area to close weeks ago, but the website needs to be updated to reflect that. Also, reservations should not be accepted on a closed restaurant. Very disappointing for people unfamiliar with the area.

We didn’t get to eat there because it was closed and boarded up. Why didn’t this app tell us it was closed???? We made a reservation for 8:30 and were starving and never heard a word that it wasn’t even a functioning restaurant until we showed up

I was super happy about my experience at this restaurant! The food and drinks are amazing and there are plenty of TVs to watch football. They had live music that was taking requests and the ambience was amazing. This would be a great spot for Sunday brunch for locals and tourists alike. I’m looking forward to this restaurant becoming very busy.

Unfortunately our experience at Republic was incredibly disappointing. We made reservations upon arrival the hostess was extremely distressed with accommodating our reservation for 2 and needed a manager to assist. We waited over 45 minutes for our appetizers and over an hour and 15 minutes for our food however, we watched 5 different tables that were sat after us receive their food rapid paced No. Our food order was not complicated. We try to have patience and grace when eating out during this difficult time, however, when truly subpar service is experienced... our patience runs very thin.
