Library Lounge At Old Hickory Steakhouse

My husband and I got married today. We've never been here before. We have both 7oz Filet Mignon Steak, ice burg salad, loaded cream potatoes, carmel carrots. Sweet tea, German beer, for our dinner. Piano player, was great. The two waiters we had were the greatest of all time! So friendly and entered the menu, the dinner was BESTEVER! I would recommend the steak 10 times! Our initial wait to be greeted once seated was a bit longer than preferred for a fine dining experience however, once our Waiter made his introduction, it was a perfect dining experience. I was overly pleased with their ability to get my steak just right. I ordered the Cowboy Ribye, 22oz, and asked that it not only be cooked warm-pink Mid Rare, but I also asked that it have a solid seared crust. They got it Perfect! My date ordered the 7oz Filet and it too was cooked perfectly Medium Rare. The side dishes were sharable and delicious! If you stay at the resort, you get a complimentary desert as well! 10/10 would go back for seconds!

We had an 80th birthday celebration for my husband with 10 people and our meal and the whole experience was wonderful. Our server Tony and the whole team were the best and answered all of our grandchildren's questions. We had gluten free, dairy free and other needs and they met them all perfectly. We did get a reservation about 60 days in advance and I am so glad we did. I highly recommend this restaurant and will go back again.

Wow!! Of course the steak is good, it's a high end steakhouse. But the sides were incredible. We got Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. They were the creamiest mashed potatoes, I need to know the secret. What was even more amazing than the food was the staff! After making reservations, we wound up sitting at the bar and had an amazing time with the 3 bartenders (I wish I was better with names). And the manager was amazing. They treated us to an anniversary dessert. Highly recommended!!

Excellent steaks, and amazing sides. A lot of other reviews note the bread being hard. This is by no means a negative; it's done on purpose. It's the style of the bread, and tastes amazing. The fillet appears cooked more than I ordered it (medium), but tasted just as tender and flavorful as I ordered. All over an incredible experience if you have the coin to support it! It's a culinary dream!
