Bidra med feedbackFrom the state we came to a good place to eat. Funk Soul Brothers was the place and we loved him! Flavorful, large portions and friendly staff.
I visited this restaurant one day and shared two sushi burritos and a small poke bowl with my husband. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and the food was delicious. We're definitely looking forward to going back!
I ordered two sushi burritos and two poke bowls through Postmates, and everything was fantastic! I couldn't wait to dine there again the following day.
A tad expensive, but the portions are generous and the quality is excellent. I ordered a sushi burrito and went home Kompelety full, but feeling far healthier and less inflated than I had eaten, say a traditional burrito. My wife had a Tofu Poke bowl, which was also very good.
The staff at this restaurant are incredibly friendly, and I'm pleased to see some vegan options on the menu. The Lomi-Lomi bowl was absolutely delicious, though a bit on the pricey side. The large size is substantial, but it seems to be about half rice. I would consider trying it again, possibly with kale this time. The McCartney sushi burrito was fresh, but it could use a little more flavor. It really needs something creamy, like avocado or peanut sauce, or perhaps some vegan sriracha mayo. As it stands, it just tastes like a salad without dressing, which isn't bad, but it might not justify the $12 price tag. I'd definitely come back, but I'd choose the Lomi-Lomi bowl over the McCartney. One more thing—why isn't there a soymilk option for boba tea? Around 90% of Koreans and Japanese people are lactose intolerant, and soy milk is commonly consumed in those cultures. Lastly, I might be nit-picking, but these are essentially just large sushi rolls. I think using the term "burrito" is a bit misleading and might distract from what it really is.
