Bidra med feedbackMight be obvious, but hey, let me out it out here cause we didn't figure it out: You won't enjoy this place if you're not already a huge country music fan. Don't come here expecting a good time as you simply enjoy music in general. Cause the exhibits here are just the past of country artists. That's all. Only thing that interested me was Taylor Swift exhibit as that's the only one I know properly. Avoid if you're not a hardcore country fan. Else it's a waste of $30 (Admission)
This was a major bucket list item for me. I was so excited to see this place, and it didn't disappoint. The audio tour was such a great choice. I highly recommend that. The experience was just so much more than I expected. The exhibits were well done and engaging. I loved getting to see the different stage outfits and instruments. It was just overall a great place to visit. If you love country music, I strongly encourage you to come to this place and stand in the rotunda and look at all the plaques. The staff was great and the restrooms were clean. I would advise buying your tickets in advance.
Fun experience with lots to look at. There are interactive things as well as items to view of all sizes and types. Lots of history for those interested, and easy to walk through as fast or as slowly as you'd like. Plan on at least an hour to walk around and maybe longer especially if you're a country fan. There's a nice gift shop as well as a snack stand with lots of seating indoors and out. A lovely place to spend a hot Tennessee afternoon.
If you are a country music fan, this is a great place to learn about the history of country music! There are displays, interactive items, some children's activities, and videos throughout the museum. Check it out if you are in Nashville!
Great experience. Learned a lot. Would have loved to spend more time watching the videos offered throughout the top level tour that shared clips over the years. Fun to see Elvis Presley’s custom car with an ice maker and car phone and gold plated amenities. Definitely recommend. Plan on spending 2-3 hours if you want to watch all the videos. If not a video person it won’t take you long as it isn’t a massive exhibit in terms of museums.
