Asahi Japanese Sushi Bar - Nashville

Got the yellowtail and soft shell crab. Yellowtail was dry and didn't taste fresh at all. Crab was overcooked and tasted burnt.Service was okay, until I got the check and the price was changed from 4.25 to 7.25 for the yellowtail maki.Wouldn't had been an issue if the waitress would have just verbally explained instead of adjusting the number with pen when the check came.

Food was amazing and fresh and everyone was friendly. Love the menu and will definitely be back.Food: 5/5

90% of the food is great! For a buffet, that means a 100% approval rating!Service was better than satisfactory , which for a buffet is 100%.This place is a A+ choice for dinner on those nights when you could cook, but really just wanna eat go to bed.

I love Asahi! This place is truly a hidden gem. I would honestly say this is the best sushi restaurant in Nashville. The owners are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I go here at least once a week for take out.

Just got back from Japan. This was a huge letdown. Honestly I can make sushi rolls better.
