Palm Shells - Nashik

A complete Flop show if you want to watch the ipl and enjoy food. Their projector had some issue and kept on getting disconnected the whole time. The food was okay. We ordered Butter garlic prawns but they turned out to be some different Chinese preparation. The only good thing about the whole experience was the tangdi kebab. Service was also really slow.

The only appreciation I would like to offer for this place is for its location and ambience, however the major criteria of choosing any restaurant the FOOD .... which is good for the stomach as well as the pocket.However where quality is concerned even paying the price won't matter .........but it was not the case here..the price quoted for even a simplest possible dish of boiled eggs was equivalent to any scrumptious dessert....... n in totality the quality was not at all at par with the expectations.... hence simply summing....Not a place to be visited again and not pocket freindly at all..... it was a WRONG CHOICE !!!!!!

Poor service. We go to a restaurant for an experience and I must say that I was utterly disappointed with the one that I had at palm shells. We waited for an hour and a half to receive our order and even after the manager admitted to the fact that he missed to submit the order, the owner was not able to find reason. Moreover, because of such bad customer service we had to leave half way not completing our meal on a day we went to celebrate.<br br

So we went there to celebrate arrival of new car in our family. We had high hopes looking at ambience in few pictures. Ambience is not bad at all. Food is okayish for the price they charge. We had veg hot and sour soup, cream of chicken soup and a veg and non veg main course. Veg soup was little on the saltier side, cream of chicken was perfect. Main course was above average.The thing here is, they wouldn’t want to let go of extra they can earn by charging a water bottle worth for despite having each item priced so high. We usually carry our own water bottle wherever we go as we don’t prefer months long packed water in plastic bottles. But the person in change to take the orders flatly refused to allow us to carry our own bottle. We tried reasoning with him stating we have our own boiled water with us and we don’t prefer outside water but he wouldn’t budge. Later on throughout the serving, he was carrying grumpy face. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE AND PATHETIC ATTITUDE OF THE STAFF. We should have left the restaurant immediately without placing the order but it was little late and we were not sure if we will get decent restaurant that time nearby.When I spoke to the owner of the hotel, the excuse he had was “people bring liquor in water bottles so we don’t allow outside water bottle”. When you see a family having female members and a toddler, you’re supposed to take situational calls and not be adamant about your nonsensical rules. A high end restaurant which cannot differentiate between sober family out for nice family dinner and drunkard bachelors out for cheap alcohol party in costly restaurant doesn’t deserve to get my business. Absolutely worthless. Spoiled our mood with the pathetic service to say the least.We won’t visit this restaurant again but hope they change this stupid rule of theirs.

Amazing ambience .. best food in Nasik! A must visit .. a beautiful and large banquet which would serve up to 500 people .. best for family functions !
