Uncle Julio's Fort Worth

Asked to be put on the list 3 times, and they forgot all 3 times. After over an hour wait we were finally seated after asking how much longer the wait was. Nothing special.

Went to a birthday party there and I've always wanted to go check it out for years. The wait staff was great and hostesses were helpful. However the food was average and way too expensive for what you got, even for tea was like 4 bucks. I wasn't impressed to be honest plus for a Mexican restaurant, there wasn't any authentic Mexican decorations or cultural accessories up on the wall or anything. I probably won't be back but I did get to experience the place. Wheelchair accessibility: The wheelchair accessibility was poor and way too far from the front door. The To Go order signs in the front should of been for handicapped.

This place has changed so much. I'm not sure if it's now under new management, but the quality and taste have changed quite a lot. We used to come to Uncle Julios almost every other weekend. But we have not been back for a couple of years. The service was great first and forthcoming. Very friendly and attentive. The margaritas were also really good. We have the pineapple jalapeño margaritas. The food is not so much, we were actually very disappointed. My wife and I also had the same compliment when it came to the restroom as well. There was now service to these, and they were absolutely dirty, no toilet paper in the stalls, and just didn't look clean. Their atmosphere is always great in the eating area. But that's it. It was a Friday, so this place was busy, with big panties. But it doesn't give an excuse on the dirtiness of the restroom. I dont think we will be coming back for a while. Hopefully, the food quality will go back to their original taste, and their management get this place back into shape. Wish you guys all the luck.

When we arrived we stood in the doorway for quite a while before we were even acknowledged. Seems the greeter was too busy talking with staff. Once he did finally acknowledge us he wrote our name in the waiting list. When we were texted we had a table, again the guy was too busy talking with the staff and we stood again for quite sometime before we were acknowledged. Once we were handed off to our server things were much better. We had a great server and the food was very good. Overall we had a good meal and great service. They definitely need to work on the initial experience. I have never been anywhere like this where th,e greeter was so rude as not to even acknowledge the patrons when they were standing in front of them. That was a big turn off for us both. The food however was very good, as were the chips and salsa!

I notice the Taco I usually get was about a 20% smaller .. The Refried beans were nowhere near the same as before , they looked pale and bland , not homemade like before . I would return to the prior recipe .. The cost of course was more
