Riscky's -b-q

Stopped in to meet a buddy downtown for lunch and this is where we landed. This was my first time and everything was on point.We started with the smoked bologna which was delicious. I had the lunch fried catfish and it was great. I actually liked how they cut the catfish up into smaller pieces and then fried them, which gave them more breading which is always a good thing. Served with tasty French fries. Washed everything down with an iced tea.Thank you, Riscky’s, for the all around great service and food.

We came in from a quick visit to the arts festival. Many employees walking around and near the front door however, the waitress was busy manning the her tables including our table. My chopped beef sandwich had less meat than expected. Loaded baked potato had little butter, sour cream, and cheese. It took longer than expected to be greeted and also waiting for the check. We were disappointed.

We ordered the three meat platter: brisket, beef ribs, and fried catfish . Overall not impressed with the food, however it was very affordable and food came out very fast less than 15 min wait). It comes with three sides which were also less than stellar, beans very plain flavor), fries cold) and mashed potatoes greasy taste).. overall good amount of food for the price but not for you if you are looking for a really good experience..

Our servers were great. I wish I remembered their names but they were awesome and so was our food. Love this place!

We came here for the weekend and wanted some yummy food and decided to give this place a try. It was so good we came back the next day too. I will definitely be back, when we come back for the weekend again.
