Los Molcajetes

The food taste great, it 's one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. I 've had multiple instances at this restaurant where I pay with a card and leave a cash tip(over 20% and then the server fraudulently adds a tip to my card. I 've called and they verified they can see the fraudent entry on the bill and they say oh it must have been a misunderstanding . It 's not, it 's just theft. Take a photo of your signed receipt when you eat here so you have proof.

Food is usually very good. Service 98% of time is amazing.

Los Molcajetes catered my son's wedding at Whispering Oaks in Valley View, Texas, on June 15th, and they delivered an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was beyond exceptional; each dish was prepared with care for each of the guests and tasted incredibly fresh. From the savory appetizers (chips, salsa and quest at every table! to the main course, every bite was a testament to their culinary expertise. The flavors were rich and authentic, showcasing the best of Mexican cuisine. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was also top-notch. Mr Servando and the staff was attentive, professional, and ensured that every guest had a fantastic dining experience. They were organized and efficient, seamlessly handling everything from setup to cleanup with a friendly and welcoming demeanor. The team at Los Molcajetes truly exceeded our expectations, making the wedding reception a memorable and enjoyable event for everyone. The events coordinator spoke very highly of Servando and his staff as well and easy food. I highly recommend them for any event where delicious food and exceptional service are a priority. I seriously dream about those brisket tacos. We don't get to come here often, but when we do, I hope those tacos are as good as I remember Every Time they're Better. I don't know how they do it.. magical. Whoever is responsible for those tacos is clearly a wizard, there's no other explanation. Highly recommend those if you couldn't tell.

Great atmosphere. Always crowded. They do good business. Mostly male waiters, which I like. Food is excellent. Especially beef fajitas. Meet is tender and very good quality. The only negative about this place is their margaritas are very weak and uninspired. They offer nothing creative in terms of mixology, it's you're standard pre-mix sweet and sour mix Margarita. If you order two or get the happy hour buy one get one free, the first one is quite good, but the second one has little to no tequila in it. So never waste your money on more than 1 margaritas here. Their Margaritas also taste like they skimp on the orange liquor or leave it out altogether.
