Ascension Coffee Fort Worth

Ordered a coffee flight and a croissant for each person in our party. The apple croissant was not available which we learned when the server brought the two plain croissants. Given the fact the server knew of the out-of-stock item when she began to heat the two plain croissants, she should have let us know at that time. Instead, she waited until she delivered the items to the table, thus making one person wait until an order for a plain croissant was placed, then heated, and then delivered to the table. Why make the customer wait?Then our party asked about the chai coffee because it tasted perfumey. Our server insisted it was ginger in the chai, but I love ginger in my tea and can recognize it. This was not ginger. She lacked product knowledge or someone did not make the chai coffee as they were supposed to.Sitting outside was a beautiful experience, the food looked lovely, but additional training is needed with the servers.

I've never had anything bad from here and I love the atmosphere/their values! Sometimes service is a little iffy, but the food is always great! Definitely take advantage of their digital waitlist. Simple brekky and cali burrito are 2 great food options to try! White chocolate iced latte is the best!!

Every time without fail, I wait 10-15 for a waiter to come to the table, only to see multiple waiters chatting at the counter, completely oblivious to their surroundings. The food is good, it’s a nice setting for a restaurant and pleasant atmosphere, but the service has been bad since the day they opened. Don’t go if you’re in any sort of time crunch.
