Bidra med feedbackNot the same thing it uses. over price smaller shares. the personal was not kindly waited for hour to get our food. they told us they're out of the oysters, how local friends get uttered. cheeked mushes and calamari were burned greasy and grilled fish were dry. they forgot about our food. not good!
Overpriced. I was there on 8/20/2014. champlin's not the worth it used to be. small, personal less friendly. others have to feel that way, and the lines were not present as before the stretched staircase.
Deck is beautiful. Eating is terrible. we were there yesterday, that was terrible! also over price! never again! we have a home here, so many were located. that was good before. we ordered a fried mussel dinner. we have a small hand full of mosquitoes three tiny boiled whole kartoffels the smallest kartoffels I have ever seen and I shot glass full of coleslaw. 18.99 I also ordered steam. there were black dishes that were gummy and dried from all cold! to bring the children home, we have a huropie cake ordered from there. it was frozen! until the people who sat next to us complained, threw themselves...read more
Inadequacies. I have today stopped for fresh fish and was disappointed by the limited variety and quality or price. the heavy fish was not fresh at this time of the year, probably Caribbean. dry boots were expensive as the mushes.
Now THIS is seafood. If you are looking for fresh, local, seafood... Go to Champlins! Eat upstairs and watch the boats come in, then stop downstairs in the fish market to get some seafood to take home! Enjoy some delicious seafood, fish and chips are to die for, and the fried clams are out of this world! My favorite chowder in town is the clear chowder at Champlins, dip some clam cakes in it... Mmmmm! Local, or tourist, Champlins is the place to be! You can even get some awesome drinks at the bar, if Kerri is bartending, I recommend a frozen mudslide or a frozen mojito! The new raw bar is awesome too!! Freshly shucked clams in front of you, doesn't get better! Champlins, you rock!
