We frequent this restaurant primarily to complement our home-cooked meals with their delicious chips. There is nothing better than pairing a BBQ steak and salad with fresh, hot chips from the Olde-Fashioned chippie. The chips may take some time to prepare, but they are able to keep them hot until you are ready to enjoy them later on.
I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious and fresh crooked fish, as well as the tasty chips. The grilled barramundi was also fresh and delicious. The restaurant itself may not be much to look at, but the food is definitely worth it.
For many years at this place. it is always busy, friendly and well worth. the fish is fresh and the menu covers the field. was once again disappointed for a Sunday dinner ... the steakburger was perfectly cooked and the grilled barramundi...was melted in their mouthful full of taste. large portions of chips gives them buck for their buck and the homemade kartoffeln scallops always get the mouth water. well located and sitting inside and outside a great lunch!
Always busy and a nice selection of fancy fish if you want. The chips are plentiful and good value. In fact we sometimes bbq some meat at home, make up a salad and have a batch of their chips to add to the main meal...at home. Beautiful chips did I say?
