Creperie D'oc - Narbonne

This was a chance find on the old Roman Via Domitia in Narbonne, now Rue Droite, and here we enjoyed lunchtime galettes and crepes plus cider from the de passage (short) menu. Warm welcome, good prices and to be recommended.

We were warned to not eat in the city square and decided to find a restaurant out side of the square. The first restaurant, highly rated by TripAdvisor, was full so we continued wandering along the street. After a bit of walking (and some of us becoming hangery) we debated Creperie D'Oc. From the outside it is quite unassuming, maybe even unwelcoming, but looking inside it looked quite inviting. It turned out to be a great choice. We all had Galettes and everyone of us loved them. I had the fixed menu with emince de porc and the coupe gourmande and they were excellent. To top it off the waitress (and possibly the owner) provided outstandingly friendly service. At the end of the meal we all agreed that this restaurant is an underrated find.

After spending the morning sightseeing around Narbonne we came upon this delightful creperie. We opted for the set menu, which offered a starter, main and dessert for 16 euros. There was a good choice on the menu and for starters we both opted for a goats cheese salad. For the main you could choose for the range of buckwheat crepes and I opted for ham, egg and cheese and my wife opted for the one with ham, mushrooms, cheese and cream. We devoured a classic chocolate crepe for dessert. Overall a great find as highlighted by the number of customers they turned away so if you want to come, come early.

This crêperie is located in the centre of Narbonne, just steps from the cathedral. The restaurant also offers items for sale that are part of the decor, which is very pleasant. Crêpes, sweet or salty, are delicious, and the waitress is efficient and nice. The only difficulty is finding a parking space in the neighborhood if we're in a car.

We are accustomed because it’s a choice crêperie on Narbonne, we recommend people who want to eat quality cakes and pancakes without any bad surprise the price being the most reasonable.
