Bidra med feedbackAmazing ice cream. We always come here when in the area. Their waffle cones are great too.
The ice cream and large selection was great. What wasn’t great was that I ended up paying for and getting 3 ice cream cones even though I just wanted 2. If a business wants to be overly cautious about the recent pandemic and have an isolation glass between the customer and employee that’s their decision. I can respect that, but literally not a single opening or microphone system in place. I could barely hear half of what the employee said. I thought she told me the first flavor was out and recommended a similar flavor, I said that’s fine. Ended up getting both plus my little brothers order. I should’ve realized it when I saw the price but I just assumed it was overly priced ice cream. Until they put something in place to make communication with the employees possible I would not recommend this business. Very frustrating experience.
Let's be honest, we can all get ice cream at wawa, acme, etc but I wanted the ice cream parlor experience from a local place after a tough day. The ice cream tasted good but I felt like I was teleported back to the height of covid days. Its creepy. They speak to you through a literal baby intercom, glass window, and the employee wears a mask, but why? If one of those measures actually worked, then the rest would be unnecessary. Anyone with disability will have a tough time for sure as I had a difficulty understanding through the literal baby intercom, reading lips through the mask (impossible) and understanding the situation through the glass. When your ice cream arrives the window is quickly open and then shut. Are we serious? Obviously you can't eat inside. The large was $7. I would be cool with that if not for the uncomfortable nature of it. Why is wawa and trader Joe's and everywhere else back to normal except here?
Village Treats is a favorite haunt of ours too. Our usual practice is to order from the window and then eat our treat at the Narberth train station. We got chocolate-mint chip ice-cream and apricot-mango sorbet... I almost always order a sorbet from there and they are always outstanding. Little people are very entertained to just eat at the train station and hopefully get to see a train go by later. A very delightful afternoon!
Very good. A little pricey, but it's well worth it for how ridiculously big consider the size of one scoop to be.
