Bidra med feedbackFor Napoleon this was a a really good restaurant. Unfortunately it closed earlier this week.
From out of town stopped for lunch because of reviews on yelp average food good service nothing special other than bbq sauce on table. I am very picky about pulled pork seasoned well served warm no where near hot obvious came directly out of crock pot. Place appears to be clean but was near empty at lunchtime. I noticed flat screen showing food and drinks had out of date ads from December this is April might consider updating seems odd to roll four month old ads.... makes people like me that notice everything wonder why...
After a long day of driving we were looking for a good meal in Napolean, Ohio. It was January 1st and we were pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant open for business. We were greeted by a warm atmosphere since the restaurant was still decorated for Christmas. The staff was friendly and efficient. We ordered the smoked beef brisket with a baked potato and veggie side. The server Gaby brought us warm rolls with a cinnamon honey butter as a starter. Yum! The meal arrived shortly and we were not disappointed! Good sized portion of a delicious beef brisket and the sides were perfect. Too much for my wife and I to finish we put the leftovers into to go boxes. So we found our new go to dinner spot in Napolean!! Two thumbs way up! Lots of other choices on the menu as well!
My family ate there the other night and the food was excellent. My husband had the smoked chicken half and it was very good!! I will be ordering that from now on : . I had the chicken breast topped with cheese and bacon and bbq sauce and it is also an excellent choice. My son had the Mac and cheese topped with pulled pork and he also said it was great!! We will be back!
Update: Came back a few months after opening on a Sunday before church rush. It wasn't busy at all. We got the Loaded Potato Wedges for an appetizer and it was a huge portion and delicious. Was out within 5 minutes. My boyfriend had the barnyard burger (topped w/ pulled pork) and I had the brisket sandwich. For sides we had mashed potatoes and Mac cheese. Last time we had the Mac cheese it was pretty flavorless but this time around it seemed to have more of a smokey flavor and I was pleased with it. The food was out quick and everything was delicious. My favorite part though is the immediate smell of BBQ as you walk through the door. I changed my 4 to a 5 star because it seems to have pulled together nicely and I was very satisfied with our visit. We came on a busy Friday night with an open mind. We had to wait about 10 minutes for a seat but knew what we wanted when we sat down because they handed us menus while we waited for seating. The food took close to if not slightly more than 40 minutes to get to us, but it came out hot. The food was overall good. The mac cheese was the only complaint, it was bland. Meat was not dry and was tender. We had a really sweet waiter who was doing his best to keep up with the crowd. Overall, it was a good experience. It's brand new so they have a few kinks to work out, but I'm sure in due time they'll have it down. We will be back.
